History

Southall Spiritualist Church was founded as a meeting in a private house in Osterley Park Road in 1930 and the church in Hortus Road was registered in 1932. This building was rented by the congregation until 1954 when it bought the freehold. The church was originally a small corrugated iron building and this was replaced with the current red brick building in 1999.

Another Spiritualist centre, opened in 1938 in Featherstone Road, Southall but had fallen into disuse by 1954.
